FERNANDO P. ARELLANO
Fernando P. Arellano treats his customers to diverse sensory impressions and is acclaimed as possibly the best chef in Majorca for his Zaranda Restaurant at Castel Son Claret Hotel. Numerous awards, including “Newcomer of the Year” and “Chef of the Year”, are a testament to the passion of Fernando and his creative team, which includes British born Claire Hutchings runner up in one of the last editions of Masterchef. When Castell Son Claret opened in May 2013, Zaranda gained its first Michelin star in 2006 while the second one was achieved in November 2015, when it found a new home and since then delighted its guests with culinary highlights.
