RENAISSANCE DINNER AT PALAZZO CASTIGLIONI 17th OCTOBER 2019
The Cuisine in Mantua is a very serious subject.
The Cuisine of Princes or People, rich or poor, for the quality of the ingredients and its peculiarity, makes tasting Mantua’s food an unforgettable experience.
In its dishes the high knowledge of the most prominent chefs of the Gonzagas’ court met the popular wisdom of Mantua’s farmers. Pumpkins tortelli, risotto, charcuterie, duck and goose meat, freshwater fish, sweet and sour sauces, fried cream, amaretti biscuits, cheese, and many more for any palate.
Twelve selected guests have had the once in a lifetime experience to taste the Mantua’s cuisine and rediscovery of the Renaissance Prince’s table dishes and customs at the Exclusive banquet dinner in the noble Palazzo Castiglioni on October 17th November with a personal chef, music and entertainment.
