First time in his history, the Alba Truffle Charity Auction Dinner was hosted in Singapore on 10th November 2019.
Simultaneously with the auction at Castello di Grinzane, the Charity Dinner hosted at 81/2 Bombana in Hong Kong and in Red Square in Moscow, 70 guests in Singapore thrilled the emotion of the Charity Auction of the best white truffles in the world.
Meanwhile the guests enjoy the taste of Alba white truffles and the extraordinary dishes cooked by chef Beppe paired with the amazing wines proposed by Giacomo Pallesi, some truffles were auctioned at the venue.
The profit of the local charity auction will be donated to the World Food Future of Singapore.
The sensational final lot with an Alba White Truffle weighing 1,005 grams was secured by a Hong Kong businessman for the incredible sum of 120,000 euro following a palpitating bidding war between all four venues.
The total proceeds of the 2019 edition of the World Alba White Truffle Auction amounted to 420,000 euro, one of the highest amounts raised in the event’s history.
A great team worked hard to realize this event for his debut in Singapore. Together in Italy, Singapore and UK. Thanks to the management and staff of the Enoteca Regionale del Piemonte and of the Order of Knights of Truffles and wines of Alba, the management and the chefs of Il Lido Group, the graphic designers and management of Optimum Dining and Vision Group.
